Inspection Methods

Visual Observation

Check by observing with the eyes.

Auditory Inspection

Tap parts of the wall surface with a tester/antenna pen and listen to the sound response to identify issues such as spalled concrete, hollow-sounding plaster, or loose base render.

Tactile Inspection

Lightly scrape or press the paint film with a fingernail to see if the coating is loose or peeling.

Level Check

For areas like floors, marble, window sills, and door frames that show obvious tilting, use a spirit level to check their levelness.

Water Spray Test

For shower screens/doors, windows, tiling, and stonework, if there is obvious light leakage or gaps at joints, perform a water-spray test to assess waterproofing performance.
